This is my only chance in life to brag, so here goes. . .
I am a Computer Science and Technology
teacher at Arcadia High School where I teach
computer applications, C++, Java, CCNA,
CompTIA A+, and Robotics classes. I serve as a member of the School Site
Leadership Team and School Site Council and have served as a Leader in
Integrating Technology in Education (LITE) Technician. I have also taught part
time for Pasadena City College in the
Computer Information Department. I serve on the advisory committees on A+ and
Cisco curricular issues for the Los Angeles
County Regional Occupational Program (LACROP). I wrote the LACROP
curriculum for Cisco,
and updated the A+,
Computer
Science, and the Web
Design curriculum.
Other past teaching positions include
California State
University Los Angeles Equal Opportunity Program where I taught Algebra II.
I have taught at Pasadena High School
in the Math department and served as a member of the Technology and Powerful
Learning Committees.
I was the owner operator of a
computer consulting company small companies integrate computer technology into
their businesses.
I graduated from California State University Los Angeles with a
Bachelors of Science in Natural Science, Geoscience Option. While I was
attending college I worked at the University Tutorial Center
tutoring university students in science, mathematics, and computers.
I hold California Teacher Credentials
in Mathematics, Geoscience, Computer Operations, Computer Maintenance and
Repair. I also am certified as a

1 and 2 Companion Guide, Revised (Cisco Networking Academy Program), 3rd
Edition ”; and the newly released “Networking
Basics CCNA 1 Labs and Study Guide (Cisco Networking Academy Program)”.
I served 9 years in the Navy where I
performed duties as the Maintenance Department Training Coordinator and as
Avionics Shop Supervisor working on P-3 Orion ASW
aircraft.
I have a 22 year old daughter and 2
year old grand-daughter.
